CITYSCAPES: Sabina Klein
Through July 12
This exhibition presents a selection of Sabina Klein’s large-scale prints and drawings of urban architecture. Devoid of a human presence, these moody cityscapes emphasize the skyscrapers’ monumental scale, brilliant glass facades, and jarring contrasts of light and shadow.

DALE CHIHULY: Seaforms
Through September 8
This exhibition pays homage to the legendary and influential artist, Dale Chihuly, whose influence on the glass medium is unprecedented in any other material. The exhibition includes 39 works from Chihuly’s Seaform series over the last three decades with many large-scale works.

Over 30 of the most accomplished and well-known glass artists from around the world are included in this major exhibition. Many different processes are represented with works by Chihuly, Littleton, Morris, Dailey, and many others from North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.

42nd Annual Flint Art Fair

The grounds of the Flint Cultural Center will host artist's booths with treasures for collectors of all types. Selections range from sculpture, painting and photography to ceramics, glass, textiles, and fine jewelry. Listen to local music by some of the areas best musicians. Stop by the concessions tent to enjoy a soda or bratwurst.
Admission: $5 Adults, $4 FIA members, $3 Senior citizens, children under 12 and Friends of Modern Art members.
FIA Summer Art Camp

Week Three: Robots in Space-Puppet Theater: July 20-24
FIA Art camps are designed to improve drawing, painting and sculpting skills as campers work with recycled, mixed media and traditional art materials such as graphite, paint, colored pencils, tempera and more. Both age groups, 5-8 years and 9-12 years, will focus on the similar themes while learning age appropriate skills. Each week, students’ works will be exhibited in the Art School Bishop Gallery.

Art a la Carte

The Art a la Carte program offers informative videos focusing on the arts. Visitors are encouraged to bring lunch. Coffee, tea, and cookies are provided.
